Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust (TEMIT) has been announced as a winner at the AJ Bell Fund and Investment Trust Awards 2021.
The aim of the awards is to recognise the investment fund, trust and ETF managers who are “simply the best” by users of AJ Bell’s online investment platforms.*
The Company won the “Emerging Markets – Active” accolade after a two-stage selection and voting process.
Voting started in June when AJ Bell’s expert panel came up with a top 6 for each category from the thousands of funds and trust available. Then in August AJ Bell Investcentre and AJ Bell YouInvest customers had the opportunity to vote for the overall winner.
For over 30 years, TEMIT has sought to deliver growth for all our shareholders and their advisers and has grown to be the largest investment trust in the AIC Emerging Markets sector. This award is encouraging and shows that we continue to be a popular choice with advisers and individual investors looking for growth in emerging markets.
