Annual General Meeting (AGM) - have your say
I am pleased to be able to invite all shareholders to attend our AGM at 12 noon on 14 July 2023 at Barber-Surgeons’ Hall in London. Map.
This offers a unique opportunity for shareholders to vote on the resolutions, meet the Board and hear a short presentation from the Portfolio Manager. Whether you intend to attend the meeting in person or not, you are strongly encouraged to submit your votes on the AGM resolutions in advance of the meeting.
Submitting votes by proxy does not preclude you attending the meeting or changing your vote if you attend the AGM. Further details regarding the AGM are set out in the Notice of Meeting on page 105 of the Annual Report and Accounts to 31 March 2023.
The Directors believe that all of the resolutions proposed are in the best interests of the Company and the shareholders as a whole and recommend that all shareholders vote in favour of all of the resolutions.
The results of the votes on the resolutions at the AGM will be published on this website after the meeting. We look forward to welcoming shareholders at the meeting.

Chetan Sehgal is the lead portfolio manager of Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust (TEMIT). He has been a portfolio manager and senior research analyst for TEMIT since 2015. He is also a senior managing director and the director of portfolio management for Franklin Templeton’s Emerging Markets Equity Team.
Chetan was joined by portfolio manager Andrew Ness on 17 September 2018. Andrew is a seasoned investor with over two decades of experience as an emerging markets equity portfolio manager, and a strong alignment with the investment approach and philosophy utilised in the management of TEMIT’s portfolio.
