You’ll hear updates from Angus MacPherson, Chairman, and a summary of investment activity and returns from the Portfolio Manager. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions and to vote on the resolutions.
The Company’s Articles of Association stipulate that the Board must seek shareholders’ approval every five years for its continuation, and a continuation vote is scheduled for this year’s AGM.
As the Chairman states in the Annual Report 2024, “This vote coincides with the 35th anniversary of TEMIT’s launch and performance over the last five-yearly cycle has been strong.
Furthermore, over the 35 years since TEMIT’s inception returns have been exceptional. The NAV total return has been over 40-fold, compared with a 17-fold return for our benchmark index.
In light of the long-term track record and the strength of the investment management team, the Board unanimously recommends that shareholders vote in favour of continuation.”
Whether you intend to attend the meeting in person or not, you are strongly encouraged to submit your votes on the AGM resolutions in advance of the meeting. Submitting votes by proxy does not preclude you attending the meeting or changing your vote if you do subsequently decide to attend the AGM.
