Milan, 11 November 2024 – Franklin Templeton is pleased to announce the appointment of Luca Morra, Executive Director, Business Development and Product Specialist for BSP/Alcentra. Reporting to Simon Perry, Managing Director, BSP/Alcentra, Morra joined the company in September 2024 and is based in Milan. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing BSP/Alcentra’s relationships with investors in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Morra will work closely with Franklin Templeton's local distribution team in Italy led by Michele Quinto, Country Head & Branch Manager and Antonio Gatta, Institutional Sales Director to manage existing relationships as well as develop business strategies for the Italian market. He will also partner with local teams in Iberia.
Prior to joining the firm, Luca worked at CAPZA, a small and mid-cap private capital boutique, leading fundraising across Italy and the Ticino region for private debt and private equity strategies. Previously he was at BlackRock for over 7 years in London and Milan, where he was responsible for business development and relationship management in Italy and Southern Europe.
Luca holds a Double Degree MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School in France and EADA Business School in Spain as well as a BSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Italy.
