David is a Chartered Accountant whose career was in investment management, firstly as an Asian fund manager with Lazard and then building businesses across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa for BlackRock and predecessor firms (Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Mercury Asset Management). David has worked in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney and has been a Representative Director in domestic, joint venture, fund management companies in India, China, Thailand and Taiwan. David contributes technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, and, in particular, extensive knowledge of Asian and other emerging markets.
